Senior Sales Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary pre-sales technical expertise through technical and product presentations, product demonstrations, pilot implementations, beta program administration, consistent communication, and on-going technical consultation
- Provide technical escalation management within accounts
- Work in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers and the Sales Engineer (SE) to be the technical bridge between our Sales Representatives and their pre-sales customers
- Take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our pre-sales customers to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online, and via telephone
- Conduct site surveys to determine the required equipment
- Establish a uniform approach and process to the Sales Engineers process.
- Development of the technical knowledge base on AirPatrol's products
- Foundation of certification for on-boarding
- Engineering process, releases, updating process
Qualifications
- Must be a high-energy, self-motivated individual with outstanding professional, sales, and technical capabilities
- Must be comfortable contributing at all levels within targeted accounts
- At least 3-6 years of related technical experience, installing, designing, managing, administering and supporting an enterprise network
- Expertise in the following disciplines:
- Familiarity with configuring and deploying all Current MS Windows Operation Systems, for both workstation and server configurations.
- Familiarity with Linux (Red Hat Enterprise and DD-WRT) environments - basic command line tools, basic scripting, VI, chron scheduling, etc.
- Experience integrating with MS Exchange, AD/LDAP, SMTP, Tomcat/Apache, MySQL (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting) - a must have
- Hands-on experience in the web technologies, scripting languages, Linux kernel and device driver APIs is a plus
- Basic networking knowledge (deployment of a system across multiple platforms, troubleshoot connectivity)
- Understanding of 802.11 WiFi, familiarity with concepts, ability to troubleshoot
- Understanding of common cellular technologies (GSM, CDMA, wideband CDMA, etc)
- Must demonstrate advanced knowledge of Networking technologies including, switching and routing, TCP/IP protocols, network security and related authentication and encryption technologies.
- Understand how AirPatrol's technology compares to our key competitors and how to position us versus them
- Experience integrating mobile devices, mobile operating systems, or mobile applications is a big plus
- Experience working with Sales and external clients in a cross-functional environment.
- Excellent written and oral business communication skills.
- Proven track record of selling solutions to commercial and government customers
- Self-starter, driven with excellent leadership skills and with a passion for shipping excellent product quality
- Ability to build and support applications and / or core product demo systems
- Exhibits strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Knowledge of business systems applications
- Ability to present both technical and non-technical information to broad audiences
- Previous Sales/Systems Engineering experience is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft business applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Security clearance a plus
Senior Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of Software Engineering developments within the Mobile Device SW portions of the AirPatrol Product Line, which includes:
- ZoneDefense
- Wireless Locator System (WLS)
- Wireless Policy Manager (WPM)
- Custom Applications of Products
- Lead Requirements Analysis, Design, Coding, Unit Test, Integration Testing efforts in low level and application level software for use on iOS, Blackberry OS, Android, and Windows 7 smart phones, tablets, and laptops
- Oversee co-located and remote engineers performing SW Development
- Contribute at all levels within targeted development activities
- Participate in creation of Product and Technical Requirements, Design, and Testing Documentation
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for AirPatrol Mobile Device Software topics
- Work closely with other team members to seamlessly achieve business goals
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar

- Translate Product and Technical Specifications into applicable tests
- Contribute at all levels within targeted development activities
- Take ownership of the system-level, technical Performance and Optimization of AirPatrol Products, including:
- Lead Solutions Architecture Efforts:
- Support Sales Engineering and Field Engineering to rapidly integrate AirPatrol Products into Customers' Enterprise Architectures
