In 2009, AirPatrol received McAfee's Innovation Award for it's integration of Wireless Policy Manager into McAfee's ePolicy Orchestrator platform.

AirPatrol is the most trusted authority on mobile and wireless threats to enterprises and governments. AirPatrol's proprietary WLS WS1002 Cell / WLAN sensor and Rapid Deployment Sensor detect cellphone calls and RF signals from 802.11 wireless devices passively, without interference.
